IT IS A SCIENTIFIC CONSENSUS THAT THE BALANCE OF THE ENTIRE ECOSYSTEM HAS BEEN SHIFTED.  WE ARE ADVANCING THE USE OF THE MOST POWERFUL AND ABUNDANT CLEAN ENERGY SOURCE TO BRING THE FASHION INDUSTRY TO NET-ZERO CARBON EMISSIONS.

    Environmental Justice

There is no doubt that all children regardless of their race, region, or financial standing deserve clean air and water.  There is a direct correlation between the quality of life and the quality of the environment.

Covid-19 underscored disparities for disadvantaged groups.  The richest nations have spent the carbon budget of poor nations through their jets, cars, consumption, and overall industrial activity. Through the displacement of fossil fuels, we begin addressing these inequities.

By harnessing technology, Global Nuclear Concepts is providing an end to energy poverty.

Safe, Clean, Emission Free & Reliable

For 60 years small modular nuclear reactors have been used to provide an endless supply of power for naval submarines and there has NEVER been an accident.

Small modular nuclear reactors are inherently safe and are our most promising path to a secure energy future.  Advanced reactors that would have been otherwise unimaginable just a few decades ago are now possible with new technology and advanced computing capabilities.  They are self contained and can operate below ground in individually contained vessels which can safely shut down and self cool indefinitely with no operator action.  No additional power self and no additional water are required and they can be factory built and shipped anywhere around the world.

There has been miss information regarding the commercial use of nuclear power and we aim to advance the public opinion beyond historic rhetoric.  We plan to advance the most powerful zero-carbon clean energy source ever known to mankind.  At Global Nuclear Concepts, our perspective is informed by one of the few people in the country to have visited every nuclear facility in the United States.  Katrina Ruff has spent much of her career advocating for those who were adversely affected by mismanaged nuclear activity of the past.  Her empathy and care provide a guiding light to ensure the safe and responsible deployment of nuclear power.

               Necessity

Climate change has led to wildfires, droughts, flooding, hurricanes, rising sea levels, ocean acidification, and the melting of permafrost.  Drastic measures are required to halt the destabilization of our planet and prevent further consequences.

Fossil fuels account for 70 percent of greenhouse gas emissions.   According to the World Economic Forum, the global apparel and footwear industry accounts for 10 percent of the world's GHG emissions, with 1.7 billion tons of carbon emitted annually.  That is more emissions than all international flights and maritime shipping combined.

It is no secret that fiber production spinning, weaving, dyeing, and fabric finishing as well as clothing manufacturing all consume high levels of energy.  At Global Nuclear Concepts our solution is preventing these standard emissions from entering the biosphere.

The diligence to connect with the International Atomic Energy Agency was crucial in understanding just how Nuclear Energy can displace oil, coal, and gas to decarbonize manufacturing in the Fashion Industry. Global Nuclear Concepts owes much of our perspective, ambition, proficiency and access to the openness, kindness, encouragement, and expertise of the International Atomic Energy Agancy.  As is the case with any UN institution, connecting with such formidable stakeholders lends great insight and builds tremendous confidence that we are on the right track and provides the infinite resolve to keep pushing forward with the utmost positivity and optimism.
